Disabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on ivorypay follows a similar process to enabling it. To disable 2FA on your account, please follow the steps outlined below.
- Go to Settings
Log in to your ivorypay dashboard, click on the Account dropdown and select Settings.
On the settings page, select Security tab
2. Disable 2FA
To deactivate the specific authentication option you no longer wish to use, uncheck the corresponding checkbox. However, please note that an additional step is required for disabling it. If you choose to disable the Google Authenticator option, you will be prompted to enter a 6-digit code from your Google Authenticator app on your phone.
After completing the above steps, you'll receive a notification confirming the successful disabling of 2FA. You will also notice that the check box next to the Enable Google Authenticator has been unmarked.
Congratulations! You have successfully disabled two-factor authentication (2FA). However, it is important to note that ivorypay strongly recommends that businesses always enable 2FA as an additional security measure.
