On ivorypay, businesses can be confident that they won't have to stress about customers sending incorrect payment amounts. We have simplified the refund process for your customers. There are two possible scenarios in which a customer may send the wrong amount:
- OVERPAYMENT: If a customer sends more than the expected amount, it’s considered an overpayment. In such cases, we will notify the customer via email and ask for their wallet address. Once they provide it and initiate the refund, they'll receive the excess amount instantly. Below is a sample of the overpayment email your customer will receive.
- UNDERPAYMENT: If a customer sends less than the expected amount, it’s considered an underpayment. In such cases, we will notify the customer via email and ask for their wallet address. Once they provide it and initiate the refund, they'll receive the total amount they sent, so that they can resend the correct payment amount.
